CDHS Music Hospital Benefit

DATE: Saturday, March 7, 2020

LOCATION: Stirling Festival Theatre, Stirling Ontario

For the past 25 years Music Teacher Dave Noble has mentored young musicians in the Campbellford District High School (CDHS) Music Program. He has also taught thousands of students the importance of giving back to their community with the annual Hospital Benefit. On Saturday, March 7th at the Stirling Festival Theatre the CDHS Music Program will host the 2020 Hospital Benefit, but it will also mark the 25th Anniversary of Mr. Noble at the helm of the program.

“The CDHS Benefit Concert has supported the purchase of the CT scanner, digital mammography machine, patients beds and much more”, says CMH Foundation Executive Director John Russell. “In fact there are very few corners of the hospital the CDHS Music students have not impacted on with their generousity”.

Winners of over 30 national gold awards and dozens of provincial and regional awards, Campbellford’s music groups have been invited performers for Canada’s Governor General and TVOntario. Previous CDHS Music fundraising concerts have raised over $25,000 for the purchase of new patient care equipment at the hospital.

Mr. Noble says this year’s performance will feature “fantastic music showcasing one of CDHS' best bands of the last 25 years.” This year’s show will include amazing tunes from across the musical spectrum including Bob Marley's I Shot the Sheriff; Chicago's 25 or 6 to 4; Colin James' Cadillac Baby; Daniel Caesar and H.E.R.'s Best Part; Aretha Franklin's Exactly Like You; Snarky Puppy's Atchafalaya; Demi Lovato's Sorry Not Sorry; Duke Ellington's It Don't Mean a Thing and much more!

Mr. Noble says, “the show will feature some of the best musicians to have graced the stage with CDHS, including the amazing singer Aliyah D'Amico (who graduates this year), the incomparable guitarist Ivan Stille, and phenomenal organist/keyboardist Thomas Cudmore. This show promises to be one of the most special CDHS shows EVER!”

Campbellford District High School’s music groups are recognized as "among the very best in Canada". Mr. Noble says “the Band members look forward to this show every year and love performing on the historic stage of the Stirling Theatre. The annual fundraiser is one of the highlights of the year for the band and we are thrilled to be able to support our amazing hospital.”

Tickets for the CDHS Music Program’s 23rd Annual Hospital Benefit are just $15 for adults or $10 for Youth 12 and under. They are available from the Stirling Festival Theatre Box Office, on-line at or from the CMH Foundation Office.
