CDHS Music Hospital Benefit
DATE: Saturday March 2, 2019
LOCATION: Stirling Festival Theatre, Stirling Ontario
For more than two decades the Campbellford District High School (CDHS) Music Program has shown its passion, generousity and community spirit by hosting a fundraising concert in support of the Campbellford Memorial Hospital. And 2019 is no different. On Saturday, March 2nd, the award-winning CDHS Jazz Bands will be part of the 22nd Annual CDHS Music Hospital Benefit at the Stirling Festival Theatre.
Campbellford District High School’s music groups, under the direction of teacher Dave Noble, are recognized as "among the very best in Canada". This year’s benefit will feature amazing singers and musicians on tunes by artists ranging from Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin to Bruno Mars, Lukas Graham, and Busty and the Bass.
Winners of over 30 national gold awards and dozens of provincial and regional awards, Campbellford’s music groups have been invited performers for Canada’s Governor General and TVOntario. Previous CDHS Music fundraising concerts have raised over $20,000 for the purchase of new patient care equipment at the hospital.
Mr. Noble says “the Jazz Band members are really looking forward to this year’s show and the return to the historic stage of the Stirling Theatre. The annual fundraiser is one of the highlights of the year for the band and we are thrilled to be able to support our amazing hospital.”
Tickets for the CDHS Jazz Band’s 22nd Annual Hospital Benefit are just $15 for adults or $10 for Students. They are available from the Stirling Festival Theatre Box Office or on-line at stirlingfestivaltheatre.com or from the CMH Foundation Office.
