The CMH Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is managed by a dedicated staff of professionals who ensure that your gift is used effectively and efficiently right here at Campbellford Memorial Hospital. The Foundation works closely with hospital leadership, as well as our doctors, nurses and health care teams to ensure that your gift makes an impact on the lives of patients visiting CMH. For the past 39 years, the Foundation has inspired the community to help care for capital improvements and essential medical equipment needs for YOUR Hospital.

Martha worked for 30 years as a high school teacher, empowering youth to become great citizens. As a long-time cottager on Stoney Lake, she and her partner chose to retire to Marmora from the St. Catherine’s region. Martha is passionate about people and community. Having a hospital close to home was a big factor in choosing where to retire. Martha is very impressed with all that CMH has to offer and she loves the friendly manner in which CMH staff care for their patients.
Peggy Meiklejohn came to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital 45 years ago as a Registered Nurse, settling in the community with husband Jim and having three sons. Retiring after 33 years, she has worked part-time with Weaver Family Funeral Home, continuing to serve families and to volunteer in the community. Enjoying time with family, especially grand-daughters Josie and Ainsley is also a high priority. Peggy’s passion for the hospital and local community will be a great asset to the CMH Foundation Board of Directors.
Valerie is a retired Municipal Manager having held many leadership roles in local government. Formally trained in the Accounting field she continued her education in Public Administration. She lives on the family farm that she grew up on. Valerie also served on the Hospital Board and served as Chair.
Brooklyn is passionate about serving individuals, families and business owners in both her professional work as an Investment Advisor and in her charitable work. She assists her clients with money management, making better financial decisions, and creating plans to meet their financial goals. Her clients are happier and live a more carefree lifestyle without stress knowing that they have an advisor they can trust.
Christine is the Auxillary Represenative on the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors
Jeff has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare, including over 10 years in senior leadership. Prior to arriving at CMH, Jeff was a Vice President at Quinte Health where his portfolios included Human Resources, Clinical Services, Partnerships and Chief Transformation Officer. During his time at Quinte Health Jeff also provided clinical oversight, design and direction for the new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and also provided leadership in the planning and design of multi-million dollar capital projects throughout Quinte Health’s four hospital sites. Jeff has also served as a Director for Diagnostic Imaging at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal as well as for the Rouge Valley Health System in Scarborough and as a Change Management and Improvement Coach for the Ontario Ministry of Health. Jeff is a values based leader who believes a leader’s greatest strength lies in their ability to empower and inspire others.
Prior to his retirement Erik, a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), since 1991 worked most recently for the Government of Canada as the Regional Manager of Security Operations responsible for inspecting airports, railways and marine units across Ontario. While living in Milton, Erik was a member of the Milton and District Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and on the Campaign Cabinet for the hospital’s redevelopment. Almost 5 years ago, Erik and his wife Kim moved to Trent Hills and recently completed building a new home of the Trent River. Erik says one of the reasons they chose to move to this area was because it had a local hospital.
Rodger Bonneau was born in Norwood, went to high school in Campbellford and has lived or owned businesses in Marmora and Norwood. He is a HVAC Installer by trade, but is also a small business owner and property owner. He is a former Mayor of Township of Asphodel-Norwood and Past-President of the Norwood Lions Club. He has sat on several community committees, including the Library Board, Economic Development, and Trails.
Cindy was born at Campbellford Memorial Hospital and attended school in the community. After graduating with honours from Fleming College, held a variety of positions in the private sector. Currently, Cindy is the Manager of Sales and Marketing at Island Park Retirement Community where she is responsible for all community outreach as well as tours and sales for new residents. Cindy has been married to Brian McMurray for 36 years and they have two grown sons, Kyle and Tyler. They have three grandchildren that live close by to spoil and spend free time with. Cindy is very passionate about our hospital as it has been an important part in her life to all her family. Her mother Ruth Petherick began her nursing career in Campbellford and her sister Penny Marshman had been a nurse at CMH for 33 years. Cindy and her family are grateful for the many services that they have used at the hospital over the years.
Trish has lived in Warkworth for more than 30 years where she and her husband have raised their family and enjoyed fulfilling careers. Trish is now retired and spent 26 years of her education career as a teacher and guidance counsellor at Campbellford District High School. Trish enjoys volunteering in the local community and since retirement, she has developed a keen interest in learning about the healthcare system and a passion for advancing and strengthening rural health. Trish also serves as a volunteer for the Warkworth Community Service Club and in her down time enjoys gardening, outdoor sports and is a proud member of the Warkworth Library Book Club.
John is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. He has been with the CMH Foundation for 11 years. Prior to coming to Campbellford he worked for the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. Prior to that he spent 15 years in Radio Broadcasting.
Catherine is a Certified Fund Raising Executive who started with the Foundation in 2007. Catherine cares deeply about patient care and staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH). Catherine received the CMH Marie Reid “Sunshine” Award recognizing her contribution to the well-being and culture of the hospital with her spirit of enthusiasm and interest. Catherine has a long history of advocacy work to improve people’s lives through grassroots organizations as well as the provincial and federal governments.
Bruce is a retired Officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. He is also an owner of several rental apartments.
John is Executive Vice-President of the Andras Group. He is a shareholder and Director of Research Capital Corporation. He is a past President of the Rotary Club of Toronto, Past Chair of SKETCH, Director of HIP (Honouring Indigenous Peoples), and a Paul Harris Fellow. John began his career in 1983 as an employee of Andras, Hatch & Hetherington. He spent his first years learning the various functions of the business, including those of the stock cage and trading floor.
Jessica grew up in Trent Hills and CMH has always been a part of her community. From family members working at CMH, accessing the hospital services for family and friends and working at the hospital she is passionate about CMH. Jessica has worked at CMH for 15 year. She is currently the Manager of Community Programs ~ Campbellford Memorial Multicare Lodge, Trent Hills GAIN & Community Mental Health. Jessica understands the amazing work done by the CMH Foundation staff. Board and volunteers ensuring CMH can continue to provide quality health care close to home. Ensuring healthcare remains close to home is important to her, for her family and friends but for also everyone else in the community. She is very excited about the planned redevelopment of the hospital.
Beth is a retired Trust Professional with over 35 years at Trust Companies in Ontario. A graduate of Georgian College, she completed courses leading to The Institute of Canadian Bankers designation of Member, Trust Institute. In addition to volunteering at Primrose Donkey Sanctuary in Roseneath since 2019, she has also volunteered for Bear Creek Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary in Barrie, the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario and Epilepsy Ontario.
Beth lives in Havelock, Ontario with her husband Kevin and their rescue cats and birds.
