The Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 18th annual “Angels of Care” campaign seeks to raise over $500,000 to fund new endoscopy equipment, crucial for diagnosing cancers and other conditions. With equipment costs rising, the hospital has pre-purchased the scopes and now calls on the community for support. Donors, known as the Matchmakers, will match contributions up to $300,000. The new tools will reduce wait times, attract new surgeons, and improve access to care for over 42,000 local residents. Donations can be made online or by contacting the foundation.

The Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) has been a cornerstone of community support and healthcare advancement for over 80 years. With a dedicated group of volunteers, the Auxiliary has raised over $2 million since 1943, significantly contributing to vital hospital equipment and services. The group organizes major annual fundraisers, collaborates with the CMH Foundation on events, and welcomes new members to participate in various activities, from quilting bees to the Christmas Bazaar. The Auxiliary not only bolsters hospital funding but also strengthens community bonds, making a tangible difference in Trent Hills.
